This pancake is not only rich in chocolate and syrup but it is also rich in protein and it gives you the energy to go throughout the day and gives you the calories. However, rather than having it as a desert it can be consumed as a meal on its own since it contains all the elements that we need in healthy food. So here's the call for all the sweet tooth lovers to come an try this delicious master peice.

This is a must try place for all the pancake lovers. Tella Balls is a living proof that pancakes can be had at such an affordable price.

Our next food adventure embarked on a favourite of mine, Chinese dumplings in
Sydney's CBD. The restaurant was the popular Din Tai Fung within the WorldSquare Centre. The weather was cold so warm dumplings were a great choice to compensate the for the low outdoor temperatures. Dumplings are great as they are severed in various ways,
this includes pan-fried, streamed or soup dumplings. The chosen dishes were a mix of soup and steamed dumplings. Firstly the soup style dumplings chosen were Shrimp
and Pork in Tangy Wonton and just a Shrimp and Pork Wonton Soup.
The steamed dumplings were the Pork Dumpling with the other choice of Shrimp and Pork Dumplings.

Each dish choice was great and very flavourful, I must also mention that the waiter
service was very quick and efficient. As usual most dumplings are best eaten hot and
freshly made, the steamed dumplings were soft and burst in your mouth when eaten.
The pork and shrimp infusion was great as when eating it made for a great infusion
but extremely favourable. The sauce used for the tangy wonton was mildly spice and
a combination of a sweet and sour texture.

Interesting facts about dumplings is that that they are eaten on the fifth day of
the new year suggesting you will have good wealth and prosperity. Another fact is that Dumplings are considered food to be eaten on the go when you are busy.

Dumplings are the equivalent to sushi in Japan, they are the central focus when choosing
a significant cultural dish. The dumplings eaten at Din Tai Fung were excellent
and I will definitely travel to their restaurant again for another dumpling adventure!

Shane.

The peri peri chicken by Domino’s contains “succulent chicken, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, red onion topped with peri peri sauce”. These ingredients are placed on top of a cheesy crust base. The pizza combines culture of traditional pizza from Italy, with combinations of african/Portuguese flavours of the peri peri sauce.

The pizza was surprisingly great, as I was skeptical that the peri peri sauce would overcome the  flavours of other ingredients such as the chicken, pizza sauce, tomato, and the red onion. The peri peri sauce was one of my favourite things about the pizza, not too spicy, with a hint of sweetness. To top it all off, the  cheese inside the crust was stretchy, with the cheddar cheese melting in your mouth.

I would eat this food again, especially when mates are over so we could enjoy such a tasty pizza slice together.

Yet another one of the many delicious dishes from Fujiyama Noodle Bar, this dish is called Chicken Katsu Curry, and it’s fantastic!

Arguably one of the most famous dishes from Japan, Chicken Katsu Curry is the amazing combination of the crunchy Chicken Katsu and the delicious Japanese Curry. The katsu is made with chicken thigh, that is coated in Japanese panko breadcrumbs before being deep fried and then sliced into bite-sized. The Japanese Curry is made by frying together curry powder, flour and oil, alongside with other ingredients to make the curry sauce, and then adding onions, carrots and potatoes.

With every piece I pit in my mouth, the crunchiness  and taste of the chicken were to die for. I don’t think I have ever eaten chicken that tasty in my life! That being said, the curry was fantastic! The right amount of spiciness added up with the perfect creamy texture and savory flavour of a good curry made me fall in love with the dish.

If you are a fan of Chicken and Curry, then I double recommend you to try this dish out.

Found on the main strip of road down to Bondi Beach, the famous Fruitologist on Bondi Road is iconic in the Eastern Suburbs for having and being one of the first places to buy an acai bowl.

Acai is a South American palm tree which produces small edible blackish-purple berries. When blended with ice they create a delicious healthy dessert for a hots summer day. Various places have different creations in their Acai bowl, some have sweets, some have fruit. The fruitologist piles a mountain of delicious granola, bananas and strawberries into their bowls, they also mix watermelon into the blending process when crushing up the acai berries. The fruitologist also offers packaged frozen acai bars which can be taken home to make homemade acai bowls.

The entire bowl only costs around $8 and is perfect after spending a hot summers day at Bondi Beach!

As an international student, if I was asked what are the things I miss the most from Bangladesh, my answer has to be "The Desi Food". One of them being Bhuna Kichuri, a traditional Bangladeshi food cooked with turmeric powder and split green grams. It is very popular dish back home as well. This is most preferred dish for Bangladeshis on winter mornings and especially on rainy days.

In Sydney, finding this meal was very easy thing. Lakemba, a popular destination for Bangladeshis and all bengali food delicacies. One of the few restaurants that serve this meal is Khushboo Sweets & Restaurant. This place is located right opposite to the Lakemba Station. They serve the traditional "Bhuna Kichuri" topped with fried eggplant and a side of beef curry. The presentation of the food makes it more exciting.  Mostly go there on rainy mornings or when I suffer from homesickness. Lastly, I would like to grab the attention of all foreigners those who want to have a taste bud of Bengali food, then go to Lakemba to taste all the heavenly dishes that the Bangladeshi culture has on offer.

Surely you won't be disappointed by Bangladeshi Food!
