Yet another one of the many delicious dishes from Fujiyama
Noodle Bar, this dish is called Chicken Katsu Curry, and it’s fantastic!
Arguably one of the most famous dishes from Japan, Chicken
Katsu Curry is the amazing combination of the crunchy Chicken Katsu and the
delicious Japanese Curry. The katsu is made with chicken thigh, that is coated
in Japanese panko breadcrumbs before being deep fried and then
sliced into bite-sized. The Japanese Curry is made by frying together curry
powder, flour and oil, alongside with other ingredients to make the curry
sauce, and then adding onions, carrots and potatoes.
With every piece I pit in my mouth, the crunchiness and taste of the chicken were to die for. I
don’t think I have ever eaten chicken that tasty in my life! That being said,
the curry was fantastic! The right amount of spiciness added up with the
perfect creamy texture and savory flavour of a good curry made me fall in love
with the dish.
