The Most Incredible Fried Chicken

The Most Incredible Fried Chicken

I will admit I am a fan boy when it comes to eating fried chicken, I can now confirm
Korean fried chicken is the benchmark dish. Danjee was a word-of-mouth
recommendation from a friend, which is located in Sydney CDB. This dish was the
best fried chicken I have EVER eaten!! I have eaten a lot of food domestically and
internationally but the flavour and texture was truly memorable.

Korean fried chicken originated in Seoul, South Korea and is different to regular fried
chicken as it is fried twice, which reduces the grease levels. Traditionally chicken in Korea
is usually steamed and usually served in soups or broths. The evolution of chicken dishes
has changed the culture for the better.

The dish known in Korean as Dak-Gangjeong, (sweet and spicy chicken) costs $43.00,
served with several side dishes and rice purchased separately. The portion of food is plenty
for two people and will stop you feeling hungry and definitely satisfied. The flavour of the
chicken was sweet and mild in spice, rice with the dish to reduce spice levels is a good idea.
The chicken texture was pretty crispy like a layer of solid caramel or honey just not that
sweet and great presentation with small nuts within the batter and fresh green chilli scattered.

I can recommend taking the time to eating this chicken at Danjee and making repeat visits as
I have become a convert to their chicken and a fanboy to their restaurant 10 out of 10.

Until next time bloggers!

Shane.
